An Informational Meeting with Dr. Barry Flinchbaugh
Thursday, November 19th
Winfield High School Cafeteria

The meeting will feature KSU Agricultural Policy Professor, Dr. Barry Flinchbaugh. A native of York, Pennsylvania, Flinchbaugh holds a B.S. in Animal Science and a M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Pennsylvania State University as well as a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University. Dr. Flinchbaugh joined Kansas State University in Manhattan in 1971 and currently teaches agricultural policy and has received the Outstanding Teacher Award on three different occasions. He lectures throughout Kansas and the nation on agricultural and economic policy and is the author of 100-plus publications including an agricultural policy textbook.

Extension Council Elections will be held November 5th and 6th in the Extension Office during regular business hours and November 7th at the Ark City High School at 6pm.
4-H Achievement Night
ACHS Cafeteria
November 7, 2009

4-H Achievement Night will be held November 7 at 6:30pm in the Ark City High School Cafeteria.  All 4-H families and supporters are invited to attend.  Please bring one covered dish per family.  Table service and drinks will be provided.  This will be a formal event, please dress accordingly.
Extension Council Annual Meeting/Executive Board Elections
Baden Square
November 12

The Cowley County Extension Council will meet for the Annual Meeting Thursday, November 12th at Baden Square.  Extension Agents will share highlights of the year and the Extension Council Executive Board will be elected.  Registration begins at 6pm with the meal beginning at 6:30.
